The Straight Talk hotspot MDN is essentially the cell phone number that is assigned to it. Now you may be thinking, “I don’t have a phone, I have a hotspot. What gives??” Well, the hotspot is nothing more than a cell phone that only provides data, so the MDN is the cellphone number that is assigned to it. Here is how you get your MDN from the hotspot.
1. Turn on your hotspot
2. Connect from your device (computer, phone, tablet, etc) to the hotspot as you normally do.
3. Go to the following address in your web browser (enter it in the address bar): 192.168.1.1
4. The admin page will now load and you will be prompted for username and password. Enter the username of admin and the password of 12$ and the last 3 digits of your hotspot’s serial number found on the back of the device. If your serial number ends in 123 for example, the password will be 12$123.
5. The page will load into the Home tab. There you will see your MDN on the top right hand corner.
Alternatively, you can get the MDN by logging on to your straight talk account from straighttalk.com.
